I promised myself I'd blog twice a week and here I am blogging almost every day...I hope I'm not too boring!
Last day of class! Too excited to start a new schedule. Class was quite interesting today because it made me realize a lot about my life and how I want to live when I'm older. Our teacher told us to do what we love and the money will come. I agree that everyone should do what they love regardless of how much money they're making but why do we have to base everything on money? It's incredible how much my mentality has changed over the past two years in the sense that I'm beginning to realize what actually makes me happy. I've been embracing change more than I used to because I am so thankful and fortunate enough to be able to make changes in my life.
Years ago I would never expect to be going to school in Michigan, 2000 miles away from my home, nor would I think I'd be studying abroad over 4000 miles away, in the Czech Republic of all places. I've always been independent but I think I'm becoming more independent in a different sense. I'm realizing how I need to take full advantages of all these opportunities because I'm so fortunate enough to be able to have them. Although I've only been here for 3 weeks now, it's been such a humbling experience and it really is life-changing.
Just a bit of reflection!
Heading to Krakow tomorrow night! The overnight train should be interesting...definitely taking a sleeping pill!
Thanks for reading and caring!
Sbohem,
