Woke up the earliest I have in Prague since my parents were here and wow do I feel it. The food we cooked was amazzzzing. I actually haven't had a Czech meal since I've been here so I was excited to try it! Lots of fried stuff though which made me feel sluggish the rest of the day. The fried cheese was probably the best part which I was surprised by! Though making the food kind of took away from how yaummy it was because everything was covered in batter and oil...
Today in class we went to the House of the Black Madonna to focus on Czech Cubist art and architecture. I've always been interested in cubism so it was enjoyable for the most part. This whole being lectured for 3 hours at a time is getting rather old...almost fell asleep in class today so I'm hopefully going to sleep well tonight.
After class my roommates and I went to TESCO to find baking mixes because we want to take advantage of our oven. We were so lost and ended up finding brownie mix but we only have cookie sheets and we couldn't find all the ingredients for that either sooo that was a fail.
Today I switched one of my classes for the next term to a Holocaust class and thankfully my advisor back at Michigan said he'd approve it as a humanities class (shout out to Tim Webb, best advisor ever!) Now I'll have class Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12 and 2-5. I'm hoping it won't be too bad seeing as I'll have 4 day weekends and a break in between.
Sbohem,
Whit
